From September 18 to 21, 2023, a delegation from the Blagoveshchensk city administration visited the city of Shanghai to participate in the 23rd All-China International Industrial Exhibition.
The purpose of the trip was to attract Chinese companies to the Amur region to develop the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe Cross-Border Agglomeration project, create new high-tech industries in the city and region, open large logistics centers, and develop the tourism sector. The delegation inspected the exhibition sites and stands of Chinese companies. These enterprises specialize in areas such as mechanical engineering, robotics, network equipment, chemical creation of new innovative materials, software, network communications, and digital data processing. Of particular interest was aroused by the Vertaxi company, which is engaged in the creation of large-sized industrial drones, since they can be used as part of a project for the international sending of parcels across the river Amur. Nozhenkin Maxim, deputy mayor of the city of Blagoveshchensk, proposed opening a plant for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.
The delegation visited the plant of the Shanghai BDCOM company, which specializes in the production of network equipment for data transmission, which is applicable when creating new production lines, factories, and business centers. The clients of this company in the Russian Federation already include such telecommunications companies as Rostelecom, MTS, Megafon, Beeline.
Representatives from Blagoveshchensk visited the “Smart Valley” of the city of Shanghai and the opening ceremony of a new industrial park on its territory.
Maxim Nozhenkin held negotiations with Vadim Valerievich Tretyakov, Minister of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, discussing joint interaction between Blagoveshchensk and the Sverdlovsk Region, including in the field of cross-border trade.
